Winery:
The Crapula wines project was born in 2008, to produce and sell excellent, chiefly jumilla wines, certain of their quality and commercial potential. Selected old vines of Monastrell, with an average of 50 years, large-sized, and naturally self-regulating. Trying to minimize intervention in the field and although not an organic wine can describe it as a natural wine that enhances the ¨terruño¨ at its best.
Wine Making:
Maceration and fermentation for 10 days in 28℃ temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Aging in French and American oak barrels for 3 months. Clarified with egg albumen. Bottled without filtration.
Tasting:
Colour: Clean and bright cherry red.
Nose: Young and vibrant, with aromas of ripe black fruit, violet touches and a sweet lactic sensation. Delicate ageing notes, balsamic hints and toasted nuances.
Palate: smooth and gentle on the palate, full of fruit, with ripe tannins and a well-balanced acidity. Long, creamy finish with some balsamic overtones and spicy remembrances.
Serving temperature: 15℃-18℃
