Vintage Description:
2014 growing season began favourable: Until the spring, the plant grew normally due to a mild winter and to rainfall fallen during the months of January and February, which were perfectly exploited by the vineyard thanks to that the drops fell soft but continuously. The beginning of spring was characterized by unusual high temperatures which favoured that sprouting came earlier; however, modest temperatures during July and part of August reversed the acceleration, which was recovered during the months of September and October, with temperatures much higher than usual, with constant sunny and warm days, which finally assured fruit ripening. The harvest was planned just to the select the grapes at the idoneous time. The wines of this vintage are characterized by moderate alcohol levels, high colour intensity, medium tannins and good balance in the palate, besides a high aromatic profile, with abundant fruit presence.
